Minecraft Skeleton Beanie.  By The Crochet Nerd.
Size:  Child. To make larger or smaller simply add or subtract increase rounds.
Yarn:
-Caron Simply Soft in White, Black, and Heather Grey.  Less than 1 skein of each.
Hook: 5.0mm
Basic crochet skills needed: 
-double crochet stitch.
-crochet in the round.
-changing colors in crochet.

- use of bobbins.

Pattern:
Abbeverations: DC- 1 double crochet in stitch
SC-single crochet
2DC-2 double crochet in same stitch
Slst-slipstitch
st-stitch

Slst to begaining st and end of each round and chain 2.
Start: In white, using magic ring or chain up 3 put 10 DC in ring an Slst to top of first DC. (10)
Round 1: 2DC in each st around.
Round 2: 2DC in first st, 1DC in next. Repeat around.(20)
Round 3: 2DC in first st, 1DC for next 2 st. Repeat around (30)
Round 4: 2DC in first st, 1DC for next 3 st. Repeat around (40)
Round 5: 2DC in first st, 1DC for next 4 st. Repeat around (50)
Round 6: 2DC in first st, 1DC for next 5 st.Repeat around (60)
Round 7: 1DC in each st around. (60)
Round 7: 1DC in each st around. (60)
Mark out 7 st in middle of the front of hat.  Mark 6 st to each side of those 7 st. (see video to clarify if needed.)
Round 8: DC around to first marked st. Change to Black for next 6 DC. Change to White for 7 DC. Change to Black for 6 DC. Change to White for remaining DC in round. (60)
Round9: Repeat round 8. (60)
Round 10: DC around to first Black st. Change to Grey for next 7 DC. Change to White for remaining DC in round. (60)
Round 11: Repeat round 10. (60)
Round 12: DC around to 6th st BEFORE first Grey st. Change to Black for next 19 DC. Change to White for remaining DC in round. (60)
Round 13: Repeat round 12. (60)
Round 14: DC around.(60)
Round 15: Change to Grey(or Black as you prefer) on Slst of last round. SC around.(60)
Finish off and weave in ends.
